Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about SixSigmaTraders, our AI bots, and how signals work.

Is there a free tier?

Yes, though it is not a signal plan. A free account gets product updates and occasional market notes by email, plus full access to every bot’s live track record, strategy pages and interactive replay charts — so you can judge the results before paying anything. Live signals are the paid product: plans start at $14.99/mo for a single bot, and every paid plan includes a 14-day free trial. New accounts can use code SIXSIGMA for 50% off the first month.

How do alerts work?

When a bot fires a signal, you receive real-time alerts via Discord and email. Entry alerts include the instrument, direction, entry price, stop loss, T1 and T2 targets, R:R ratio, and strategy rationale. When T1 is hit mid-trade, you receive a decision alert with context-aware guidance (hold for T2 or bank profits). On outcome, you get a result alert with P&L per contract. SMS alerts are coming soon.

What's the difference between AI and human signals?

AI bot signals use price-structure detection (VWAP reclaims, opening range breakouts) on 1-minute bars, currently trading ES and NQ futures intraday. All bots are validated out-of-sample against 2 years of professional futures data and then scored live — wins and losses alike. Swing and investor bots are built but benched until they have a live track record we can stand behind. Human signals ("Trade with a Pro") come from verified funded traders posting in real time with personal strategy notes and prop firm context.

How are win rates calculated?

Win rates are calculated from a bot's entire signal history on the platform. A signal is counted as a win if it hits Target 2 (full exit). Partial wins (T1 hit, remainder stopped at breakeven) count as wins. Stopped out signals count as losses. All stats are transparent and based on verified, timestamped signal data with automated scoring.

What happens when a signal expires?

Every signal has a validity window based on its timeframe: day-trade signals expire at market close, swing signals hold for up to 21 days, and investor signals hold for up to 90 days. If a signal's targets or stop are not hit within its validity window, the system automatically marks it as expired and notifies subscribers. Bot signals are scored automatically using real-time price data with transparent P&L tracking.

Can I use signals in my prop firm challenge?

Most prop firms allow the use of third-party signals and trade ideas, but policies vary. TopStep, Apex, and most firms permit it as long as you are the one placing the trades. FTMO has specific rules around copy trading. We recommend reviewing your prop firm's terms of service before following any signals. Every signal includes strategy context to help you stay within your challenge rules.

Do you support TopStep/Apex/FTMO?

Yes. SixSigmaTraders supports traders from all major prop firms including TopStep, Apex, PitBull, FTMO, My Funded Futures, Earn2Trade, and Tradeify. Each bot's strategy page shows backtested performance specific to prop firm risk parameters.

How does verification work for traders?

Every trader must submit documentation proving they have passed a real funded evaluation (TopStep, Apex, FTMO, etc.). Our team manually reviews each submission. Only traders with verified funded accounts can post picks or accept subscribers.

What are the platform fees?

Platform fees are tiered: 15% under $5k/month, 12% over $5k/mo, 10% over $20k/mo, and 8% over $50k/mo. Subscribers pay the listed plan price with no additional charges.

Can I earn by referring other traders?

Yes. Every verified trader gets a unique referral link. When you refer another trader to SixSigmaTraders and they start earning subscriber revenue, you receive 3% of their net earnings for life. There is no cap on referral income.
